The military sword arch with members of various uniformed services represents the discipline, honor, and tradition of those men and women in uniform today.
The Korean “paebaek” traditional dress and the bowing and tea ceremonies represent the payment of respect to elders; the tossing of dates and chestnuts represent ancient legends as the number of children the new couple will have; and the nearly comical carrying of the bride by the groom represents strength.
